A Rewarding Journey of Learning, Reflection, and Professional Growth
It was a wonderful experience to learn, share, and exchange ideas with 27 fellow educators from diverse disciplines and universities.
I am delighted to have successfully completed the Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (CLTiHE), a three-month, 50-CPD-hour professional development program (22 July–7 October 2026) organized by the Learning and Teaching Innovation Centre (LTIC), BRAC University.
This enriching journey deepened our understanding of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), curriculum design, teaching and learning strategies, constructive alignment, assessment techniques, HOTS and LOTS, feedback literacy, inclusive pedagogy, AI-enhanced learning, and action research.
As a Civil Engineering educator, I particularly valued the interdisciplinary exchange and practical insights into improving teaching effectiveness and developing competent, future-ready graduates.
My sincere gratitude to Professor Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, the LTIC team, and the IQAC of BRAC University for this excellent initiative.
Teaching is a lifelong journey of learning, reflection, and improvement. Effective teachers inspire better learners, and empowered learners become competent, ethical, responsible, and globally engaged citizens.
