01 | Students willing to study in Stamford University Stamford with some credits earned from other Universities will have to contact the admission office who will verify the authenticity of the Transcript produced by other Universities and all other documents needed to qualify the student to study in Stamford University Bangladesh. Once the admission office finds the student qualified to study in Stamford University Bangladesh, will forward the Transcript to the concerned department for equivalence. |
02 | Students applying for Credit Transfer from any other University will have to complete at least 50% of the total required credit hours at Stamford University Bangladesh to obtain any degree from Stamford University Bangladesh. |
03 | At least 50% or above course content which have already been completed in other Universities must be equivalent to the similar courses which are being offered at Stamford University Bangladesh. |
04 | Departmental Equivalence committee will determine the equivalence of the contents of the courses completed by a student willing to get Credit Transfer. |
05 | Each department of Stamford University Bangladesh should have a Credit Transfer Equivalence Committee. The departmental Credit Transfer Equivalence Committee should be formed of three senior members of the respective department with Chairman or senior most faculty member as its head. The Committee will examine the contents of the courses completed by the student in his/her previous University and submit a report to the Registrar, Controller of exams and Head of the Department, Admission with regard to the equivalence of courses as and when necessary as per approved format. |
06 | Courses in which students obtained less than grade C+ (less than 50% marks) will not be accepted in Stamford University Bangladesh on Credit Transfer. |
07 | Courses completed and grades obtained by the students in other Universities can be separately incorporated in the Transcripts issued by Stamford University Bangladesh. However, the CGPA of the students of Credit Transfer will be awarded by calculating the grade points (GP) obtained in the courses which have exclusively been studied by the students at Stamford University Bangladesh. Departmental equivalence committee can issue a separate certificate to the students incorporating the courses accepted as waiver. |
08 | Credit Transfer should be considered as waiver of courses completed in other Universities. |
09 | At the time of Credit Transfer the conduct and behavior of the student must be considered. Student as such should produce character certificate from his/her previous University. |
10 | Students applying for Credit Transfer must also obtain clearance certificate from his/her previous University Bangladesh. |
11 | Courses to be pursued by the students from other Universities must be in adherence to the rules and regulations followed in Stamford University Bangladesh. |
12 | Depending on the Transcript of the previous University of the students Credit Transfer Committee will fill in a prescribed form and forward the completed form duly signed by the Committee and the student to the Registrar, Controller of Exams and Head of the Department, Admission. A copy may be retained in the department. |
13 | Credit Transfer for Masters Program should also be allowed along with the Undergraduate program with the terms and conditions remaining same of the policy recommended for undergraduate students. |
14 | Students applying for Credit Transfer from any university must attain all the Program Outcomes (POS) at Stamford University Bangladesh in order to be eligible for a degree from Stamford University Bangladesh. |

08 | Copy of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or Diploma or A - Level or Equivalent Academic Transcript. |
09 | Copy of the Bachelor or Honours or Undergraduate or Equivalent Certificate (For Master's or Graduate or Postgraduate Program only). |
10 | Copy of the Bachelor or Honours or Undergraduate or Equivalent Academic Transcript (For Master's or Graduate or Postgraduate Program only). |
11 | Copy of the NID or Birth Certificate or Passport. |
12 | Copy of the Parent's or Guardian's NID or Birth Certificate or Passport Copy. |
13 | Passport Size Recent Color Photograph - 03 Copies. |
14 | Copy of the Foreign Educational Certificate and Academic Transcript Evaluation from the Proper Authority (If necessary). |
15 | Copy of the Passport for O - Level and A - Level Passed Out Candidates or Students. |
16 | Copy of the Passport with a Valid Visa (Foreign candidate or students only). |
The concerned academic department requires at least 15 (Fifteen) working days to complete the credit transfer equivalence procedure for the candidates or students. |
