International seminar titled “Alternative Finance in Cultural and Creative Industries” held on Stamford

CROWDCUL- is a research project team based in Norway that visited Stamford University Bangladesh on January 4, 2023 to facilitate an international seminar titled “Alternative Finance in Cultural and Creative Industries”. The daylong seminar was held at the university auditorium. 
On that occasion, President of Board of trustees Fatinnaz Feroz, Honorable Vice Chancellor (Acting) Prof. Dr. Younus Mia, Former VC Professor Mohammad Ali Naqi, Registrar Mr. Abdul Matin, Dean of Arts & Social Science faculty Prof. Dr. Prof. Quazi Abdul Mannan, Dean of Science faculty Prof. Dr. Ahmad Kamruzzaman Majumder, Prof. Dr. Gulshan Ara Latifa from Department of Environmental Science and faculty members and students from different departments were present. President of the Board of Trustees Fatinnaz Feroz was the chief guest of the seminar while Honorable Vice Chancellor (Acting) Prof. Dr. Younus Mia was the chair of that seminar. President of the Board of Trustees Fatinnaz Feroz has inaugurated the seminar after hoping for collaboration with the international team with Stamford university Bangladesh. Honorable Vice Chancellor (Acting) Prof. Dr. Younus Mia delivered his speech mentioning the importance of such seminars and collaboration and he thanked all the foreign delegates for visiting Stamford university Bangladesh.
The CROWDCUL team comprises professors and researchers from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (Norway), University of Agder (Norway), University of South-Eastern Norway (Norway), University for the Creative Arts (UK), and University of Barcelona (Spain).  CROWDCUL is funded by the Norwegian Research Council, Norway. CROWDCUL has visited different parts of the world to raise the awareness and opportunities of crowdfunding.
Prof. Natalia Mæhle from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (Norway) has led the CROWDCUL team. Prof. Rotem Shneor from University of Agder (Norway), Prof. Elisabetta Lazzaro from University for the Creative Arts (UK), Assoc. Prof.Daniel Nordgård from University of Agder (Norway), Assoc. Prof. Ziaul Haque Munim from University of South-Eastern Norway (Norway), Prof. Lluís Bonet from University of Barcelona (Spain) have facilitated different segments of the seminar. Finally, they have also facilitated a session for exploring the higher education opportunities for the students and faculties of the Stamford University Bangladesh. Both parties have expressed the intention to collaborate further in research and education. Mohammad Fakhrul Islam, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, Stamford University Bangladesh and Assoc. Prof. Ziaul Haque Munim from University of South-Eastern Norway (Norway) has coordinated from both ends. They gave a vote of thanks at the end of the seminar. Finally, the program ended up giving a token of appreciation to the CROWDCUL team by the honorable president of the Board of Trustees of Stamford University Bangladesh.
