Stamford University Bangladesh Welcomes New Pharmacy Students through Freshers’ Orientation

The Department of Pharmacy at Stamford University Bangladesh organised a Freshers’ Orientation Programme to welcome the newly admitted students of the BPH 84, BPH 85, and BPH 86 batches at the Siddheswari Campus Auditorium on 12 July 2026.

The programme was attended by newly admitted students, senior students, faculty members, university officials, and distinguished guests. The Honourable Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Sharif Nafe As-Saber, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Mr. Muhammad Abdul Matin, Registrar, attended as the Special Guest. The programme was presided over by Dr. Most. Nazma Parvin, Chairman of the Department of Pharmacy.

In his address, Professor Dr. Sharif Nafe As-Saber emphasised the importance of research, innovation, and professional excellence in pharmacy education and reaffirmed the university's commitment to providing a supportive academic environment.

In her presidential address, Dr. Most. Nazma Parvin highlighted the achievements of the department's alumni and encouraged the newly admitted students to pursue academic excellence, maintain professional integrity, and actively engage in university life.

The programme also featured a student sharing session, where senior and newly admitted students exchanged their experiences and aspirations. The event concluded with a cultural performance and a luncheon, marking the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the new students.

The Freshers’ Orientation Programme reflected Stamford University Bangladesh's commitment to academic excellence, student development, and creating a welcoming environment for future pharmacy professionals.
