Assistant Professor Mustari  Alam joined Stamford University Bangladesh in September 28, 2006 as Lecturer. She was promoted as Assistant Professor in December 01, 2010. She was absorbed to a permanent faculty on the successful completion of one year probation in September, 2007 in the department of Business Administration in Marketing discipline.

Mustari Alam completed her B. Com. (Hons.) in 1997 and M.Com in 1999 from the Department of Marketing, University of Dhaka. While she was an undergrad student of B. Com. (Hons.) final year in 1997, she conducted her internship research program in Bangladesh Retail Sector. There she worked on the existing scenario of retail sector in Bangladesh. Afterwards, during her faculty tenure, she is actively involved in research and is supervising several of research students with a continual output as reflected through her extensive national and international papers. Mustari Alam has over five peer reviewed journal papers published in the International refereed journal and local journals. Among five articles, she has two articles of single or principal author.

Assistant Professor Mustari Alam has been teaching Marketing courses like Principles of Marketing, Sales Management, Business Law, Product Management, International Trade, Business Statistics, Consumer Behavior, Economics of Marketing, Marketing Management etc. Along with Marketing courses she has been teaching other courses like Micro and Macro Economics, Insurance, Entrepreneurship, Principles of Management etc. Besides teaching, she works as an active member of a committees in the department and university such as Examination Routine Committee.
