Admission Requirements
Requirements for admission to bachelor and master programs at Stamford University vary with the discipline the applicants choose. Requirements for admission into different programs are given below:
Business Administration, English, Law, Environmental Science, Economics, Journalism for Electronic & Print Media, Film & Media and Public Administration programs:
- Minimum GPA 2.50 in both SSC and HSC with any background or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 subjects in O-Level and 2 subjects in A-Level with minimum grade of B in 4 subjects and minimum grade C in 3 subjects.
Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Electrical & Electronic Engineering programs:
- Minimum GPA 2.50 in SSC and HSC with science background or equivalent examinations.
- Student must pass Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations.
- Minimum 5 subjects in O-Level and 2 subjects in A-Level with minimum grade of B in 4 subjects and minimum grade C in 3 subjects from science background.
Architecture program:
- Minimum GPA 2.50 in SSC and HSC with science background or equivalent examinations.
- Candidates must have Mathematics at least in one of the examinations, i.e. SSC or HSC or equivalent examinations.
- Minimum 5 subjects in O- level and 2 subjects in A- level with minimum grade of B in 4 subjects and minimum grade C in 3 subjects from science background.
Microbiology program:
- Minimum GPA 2.50 in both SSC and HSC with science background or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 subjects in O-Level and 2 subjects in A-Level with minimum grade of B in 4 subjects and minimum grade C in 3 subjects.
Eligibility for Admission in Graduate
Students who wish to get themselves admitted at Stamford's master programs should have at least 6 points without any 3rd class or 7 points with a third class at graduation level to be computed as follows:
