Stamford University Signs MOU for IT & IT Enabled services foundation skill Training Project

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Stamford University Bangladesh and Bangladesh Computer Council and Ernst & Young LLP(EY) on 17th of August, 2016 at Stamford University main campus. The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. M. Feroze Ahmed from Stamford University Bangladesh and Mr. Kamal Mansharamani, Project Director from Ernst & Young LLP (EY) and Mahfuzul Islam Shamim, IT/ITES Specialist, Bangladesh Computer Council signed the agreement. The IT & ITES (IT Enabled Services) Foundation Skills Training Project of Bangladesh Computer Council has been recognized by the Government of Bangladesh aiming at  IT skills of Professional courses for the final year CSE students for free of cost. The project also aims at placing 60% of the trained students to the job market. The courses include professional training on .NET, Java, Android Mobile Apps, Web Apps development.

Dr. Kamruddin Nur, Chairman, Department of Computer Science & Engineering; and Prof. Dr. M. Mahfuzul Islam, Academic Advisor and the Registrar of the university, Mr. Mohammad Abdul Matin were present on that occasion.
