The Department of Environmental Science of Stamford University Bangladesh in collaboration with American Center of the US Embassy, Dhaka organized a seminar on climate change, mitigation and sustainability on 9 June 2014 at the Anam Rangs Plaza Campus. The keynote speaker was Miss Zoanne R. Porter Principal, ICF International USA and Miss Claudia Page, Public Diplomacy Officer of US Embassy attended it. The seminar was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Maudud Elahi, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Stamford University Bangladesh and Chairman of Environmental Science. Miss Zoanne R. Potter spoke on the effects of climate change globally and suggested some measures to be taken to face this challenge. Teachers and students of different departments attended the program. Miss Jussi Diana Biswas, Assistant Professor of Environmental Science presented the program. At the end of the program, the keynote speaker responded to different questions from the audience.
